Vivek and Aarathi had a beautiful low-key wedding ceremony at Arlington House in Guildford, with just their parents present, followed by a heartfelt blessing at St Margaret’s Church in Stanwell. Days like this remind me how powerful simplicity can be.
The room was beautifully light and airy, with large windows and soft floral décor creating the perfect backdrop for an intimate ceremony. It’s a wonderful choice for couples planning a wedding in Surrey. Capturing these quiet moments, the exchanged glances, gentle touches and the unmistakable pride on their parents’ faces, is exactly what I love most about photographing intimate weddings.
After the civil ceremony, we travelled to St Margaret’s Church in Stanwell for a quiet and meaningful church blessing. This historic church, with its beautiful stonework and serene setting, added another layer of significance to the day, and the soft light inside was perfect for capturing candid, emotional photographs.

Vivek and Aarathi’s wedding had a gentle, effortless charm to it, with each part of the day flowing beautifully from Guildford to Stanwell. Surrounded by their parents, they created a celebration that felt true to them; intimate, meaningful and filled with lovely moments worth remembering.
